As a Diploma qualified Beauty Therapist, Roni's passion is to help her clients feel amazing and love the skin they're in.  Rather than getting side-tracked with the latest fads, Roni's studies in Health Science and Traditional Chinese Medicine has led her to adopt a more holistic approach to beauty, understanding that your skin is a reflection of your life; reflecting the quality of your diet, lifestyle and well-being. What you feed your skin at the cellular level is equally important as what you apply topically. 

With the awareness of todays fast paced touch-and-go society, Roni married her passion for transforming your skin with her desire for making a difference thus creating Phoenix Facials; a private space where you can stop for a moment to be pampered with undivided attention whilst simultaneously playing a part in changing lives.

Roni is not an employee or representative of Mother's Heart, just a grateful mother of a precious little girl with a passion to create positive change, both locally and globally.

The Phoenix identity was chosen as it embraces Roni's life-long attitude geared towards transformation and growth; a fundamental belief that the human spirit can rise above its own ashes and begin anew.

In Cambodia, the vulnerabilities of being a woman are often compounded when one becomes a single and unwed mother.  She is treated with social and economic discrimination, being turned away and disowned by her partner and family (even if her pregnancy is a result of rape).   

Without support, her vulnerabilities not only cause crisis in her own life but also can endanger her children to trafficking, abuse, neglect, and institutionalization. 

Mother's Hearts mission is to ensure no woman experiences an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy alone. Women are educated on the choices they have available and made aware that they actually do have a choice. Women are further empowered to be autonomous and financially independent so they can choose the best future for themselves and their babies. 

At Phoenix Facials, five per cent of all proceeds will be donated to Mother’s Heart, a charitable organization which offers emotional, medical and social support to women in crisis. So when you visit Phoenix Facials, whether to purchase some skincare/skinfood, treat yourself to a pamper or schedule a monthly maintenance service, you’ll be playing a part in transforming the lives of those less fortunate.
